Week 2: Blending Types

Rexburg has a lot of things to offer. It is known for it's outdoor recreational sports but also for the buildings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So I wanted to get that represents both. While I was out looking for a landscaped place, I was lucky enough to come across a random guy just sailing away. I wish I could get up closer but I was able to get a shot with a lot of open space so I would be able to blend the Rexburg Temple in with it.

  1. Cool! I like how you tried to capture the mood of Rexburg in this montage. The temple looks great a little transparent like you did too.

  2. I like the way you blended the two pictures. Fading the temple broght it more to my eye. I would say though maybe use a different text and maybe make it bigger.

  3. I took some pictures of the same kite-boarder! This photo is nice because it's representative of the text rather than just focusing on sports, religion OR potatoes. You get it all. I think enlarged text might add some needed weight to the composition and strengthen your visual message. Nice clean work!

  4. I like the combination of those two photos. It makes Rexburg look super cold outside, which it probably was. Good job
